PoliVisu is please to join the agenda at the forthcoming prestigious Major Cities of Europe conference taking place in Venice on June 13 and 14, 2019 entitled 'Channeling Change'.
For more than 35 years, the not-for-profit Major Cities of Europe organisation has been engaged in promoting the exchange of experiences among cities about their digital transformation and innovation initiatives. It has helped government CIO's, and IT managers from across Europe to shape their own digital journey's, through expert keynotes, informed debate and networking.
PoliVisu will be hosting a hands-on workshop on day one of the conference entitled:
"City Data for Policy Co-Creation - Visualise | Discuss | Decide.
In this interactive workshop you’ll discover tools and techniques for building smart-mobility visualisations that will help you engage communities so they’re better connected to city decisions that affect daily lives. We’ll be hands on with real visualisations from Flanders (BE), Issy-les-Moulineaux (FR), and Pilsen (CZ) and will explore how to unlock intelligence for enhancing short term operational decisions and influencing longer term policy. You’ll also be able to ask questions to city representatives about their experiences in overcoming big data barriers to move towards an era of responsive cities."
This friendly and open workshop will offer an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in using big data for enhancing policy to engage in informal discussions with the cities involved in PoliVisu.
