The traffic intensity app for Pilsen

The 'Traffic volume in Plzen' application displays the expected traffic situation in Plzen in one hour intervals during the period from May 2017 to November 2018. The traffic volume information is derived from the city's traffic model and takes into account roadworks that are ongoing on the selected day.

The visualisation helps policy makers to better plan roadworks in the city, especially by avoiding such overlaps of road closures that would cause major issues in the traffic circulation in the city.

The traffic accidents app for Flanders

The analytical tool allows decision makers to discover hotspots of traffic accidents (e.g. accidents in certain hours of the day or on certain weekdays, accidents with certain accident severity, accidents nearby schools etc.) and thus helps to identify most risky areas where to apply specific traffic management or security measures
